About This Role
This is a hands-on accounting role set within a fast-moving consultancy that blends finance with tech — think less traditional ledger work and more operational agility. You’ll be expected to manage financial records and compliance, but also step into office coordination and cross-departmental support. It suits a junior accountant who is comfortable with a startup-style environment where roles are fluid and initiative is valued.
What the Requirements Say About This Role
The employer is looking for someone who can do more than just post entries — they want a professional who brings structure to a growing, innovation-driven company. The emphasis on “detail-oriented” and “organizational skills” suggests that accuracy under pressure and the ability to juggle multiple tasks are just as important as technical accounting knowledge. You are expected to be self-reliant, not someone who needs constant supervision.
How to Approach This Application
Your application should demonstrate how you have managed financial tasks in a dynamic or small-team setting, not just in a structured corporate finance department. Emphasize any experience with digital tools, financial software, or process improvements — PTGR values innovation. Be ready to show how you can support office operations beyond strict accounting, such as coordinating with other departments or handling administrative tasks.
Who This Role Suits
This role is ideal for a junior accountant who thrives in a flat, fast-paced organization and wants exposure to both finance and operations. It will likely attract many applicants, so showing adaptability and a proactive mindset will set you apart.
