Position: Deputy General Manager, Operations & Technical
Location: Adama Industry Park
Education
- MSc/BSc Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or in any related field of study.
Main Role of the Job holder
- To provide leadership for production and factory operations, engineering and maintenance, quality, safety and environmental management, operational excellence, and technical projects.
- The role drives production, capacity utilization, equipment reliability, product quality, cost-efficiency, and safety objectives. It also assists the General Manager in strategy execution, operational decision-making, performance oversight, and leadership succession.
Relevant Experience
- Minimum of 10–12 years of progressive operational leadership experience within heavy manufacturing, steel processing, or large-scale industrial park environments
- At least 5 years in a senior executive or plant-wide operations role managing diverse, multi-shift technical and logistical workforces.
- Strong experience in a large manufacturing or industrial organization
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver measurable results
- Strong business judgment, execution discipline, analytical capability and integrity.
