With 5–8 years of experience, you are expected to lead teams and make on-site decisions that prevent costly delays or safety incidents—not just follow plans, but proactively solve ground-related engineering problems.

How to Approach This Application

To stand out, highlight specific projects where you supervised shoring systems, retaining walls, or deep excavations in dense or constrained sites. Emphasize your familiarity with Ethiopian construction safety regulations and your ability to coordinate with surveyors, contractors, and safety officers. A practical example of how you avoided a soil collapse or optimized excavation sequencing will resonate strongly.
