Job Purpose

Leads and oversees all store/warehouse operations within a project site. Ensures proper inventory control, timely material distribution, and compliance with organizational policies to support smooth project execution.

Position Title: Project Store Head

Reports To: Property and General service Head

Duty Station: Jimma

Salary & Benefits: Negotiable, commensurate with qualifications and experience

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise storekeepers and warehouse staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Oversee receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming materials.
• Authorize and control issuance of materials to project departments.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely reporting to management.
• Plan and implement stock audits, reconciliations, and reorder schedules.
• Ensure proper storage, safety, and security of materials.
• Coordinate with procurement, finance, and operations teams for material planning.
• Prepare periodic reports on stock levels, usage, and variances.
• Enforce compliance with company policies and safety standards

Job Specification

Educational Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field

Professional Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in the role

• Proven experience in warehouse/store management, preferably in project environments.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
