About This Role
This is a hands-on senior-level HR role within a major Ethiopian investment group’s healthcare subsidiary. You will be the operational backbone of the HR function, managing the full recruitment lifecycle from documentation to interviews, while also overseeing employee records, leave administration, and property documentation. It suits an experienced HR generalist who thrives in a structured, multi-faceted environment where compliance and record-keeping are as critical as talent acquisition.
What the Requirements Say About This Role
The call for 5-8 years of experience signals that the employer values deep, practical HR operations knowledge over theoretical expertise. The role likely requires someone who can independently manage high-volume recruitment and employee data without constant supervision. A background in social sciences or business administration suggests the employer expects strong interpersonal skills and an understanding of organizational behavior, not just administrative capability.
How to Approach This Application
Emphasize your direct experience with end-to-end recruitment processes and personnel record management, particularly in a healthcare or regulated setting. Highlight specific examples of how you have improved onboarding efficiency or maintained accurate employee databases. Since the company is part of a large group, demonstrating knowledge of Ethiopian labor law and HR compliance standards will set you apart.
Who This Role Suits
This role is best suited for an experienced HR professional who enjoys operational depth rather than strategic HR business partnering. Competition will be moderate, with strong interest from candidates seeking stability in a well-established organization.
