Position: Senior Tender Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Tender Engineer will lead the preparation and submission of technical and commercial tenders, analyse tender documents and evaluation criteria to identify risks and opportunities, and coordinate with estimation, planning, technical, and commercial teams for comprehensive tender packages. The role prepares method statements and project execution plans, conducts tender risk assessments, manages the tender register, leads post-tender negotiations with clients, and prepares debriefing reports analysing win/loss factors.

Salary: Negotiable but attractive.

Employment Term: Permanent.

Duty Station: Guinea, Conakry – West Africa

Note: French language proficiency for all positions and ERP/software tool familiarity are an asset for office-based roles.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

Experience

• Minimum 10 years in tendering and bid management; proven track record managing full tender cycles on mega projects

Specialization

• Min. 4 years in senior tender role; complex tender document analysis; competitive bid strategy development; government and public procurement
