About the Role
We are looking for a Showroom Manager to oversee daily showroom operations, achieve sales targets, and lead the sales team. The ideal candidate must deeply understand the furniture industry, possess strong sales leadership skills, and coordinate effectively between the showroom and the factory.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Performance: Develop and execute monthly/quarterly sales plans, lead the team to meet targets, and secure key accounts and customized orders.
- Store Operations: Manage daily showroom operations, including staff scheduling, display adjustments, inventory counting, and visual merchandising.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and coach the showroom sales team to improve overall service standards and sales techniques.
- Customer Relations: Handle major complaints and after-sales issues; build and maintain VIP client profiles.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Liaise closely with the factory production and logistics teams to ensure delivery timelines and quality for customized orders, reducing complaints.
- Data Analysis: Analyze conversion rates, average transaction value, and best-selling products; submit regular operational reports to management.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of retail store management experience; must have 2+ years of sales/management experience in the furniture, whole-house customization, or building materials industry.
- Language: Fluent in English (working language); fluent in Amharic.
