KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Subcontractor Management Engineer will manage the subcontractor prequalification, selection, and procurement process, prepare and issue subcontract agreements and work order packages, and monitor subcontractor performance against contract terms, schedules, and quality standards. The role evaluates and processes subcontractor payment applications and claims, maintains a comprehensive vendor database with performance ratings, coordinates with project teams to resolve disputes, and develops supply chain risk assessments and contingency plans.

Salary: Negotiable but attractive.

Employment Term: Permanent.

Duty Station: Guinea, Conakry – West Africa

Note: French language proficiency for all positions and ERP/software tool familiarity are an asset for office-based roles.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

Experience

• Minimum 7 years in subcontractor management, procurement, and supply chain coordination

Specialization

• Subcontractor prequalification; bid evaluations; subcontract agreements and work order packages; performance monitoring and supply chain risk management
