About This Role
This is a hands-on production role at one of Ethiopia's established breweries, where you would sit at the front line of turning raw malt into wort ready for fermentation. The work is shift-based, technical, and quality-critical — a single miscalculated measurement can affect an entire batch. It suits someone who is comfortable in a plant environment, follows procedures precisely, and takes quiet pride in consistency rather than variety.
What the Requirements Say About This Role
The profile Habesha is looking for is someone who can be trusted with equipment and data simultaneously — the emphasis on accuracy in recording suggests they have had issues with documentation gaps or batch traceability before. The mention of software operation alongside physical brewing tasks signals that this isn't a purely manual job; they need someone who can move between a control screen and a mash tun without losing focus. One to three years of experience is the sweet spot: enough to know how a brewhouse behaves, but still coachable within Habesha's own SOPs.
How to Approach This Application
Your CV should make your measurement and testing experience concrete — name the specific parameters you've monitored and the equipment you've operated, because generic "quality control" language won't stand out. If you have any exposure to CIP protocols or food-safety documentation, lead with it. Habesha will likely prioritize reliability and safety discipline over brewing passion, so signal that you understand the consequences of a missed fault report or an inaccurate log entry.

Best suited to a process or production operator with brewery, beverage, or food-manufacturing exposure who wants a stable FMCG employer outside Addis. Competition will be moderate but localized — candidates already in or near Debre Birhan, or willing to relocate, will have a practical edge.
