About This Role

This is a field command role, not a desk job. You would be Bluespark's senior representative on the ground in one specific zone, running the daily machinery of a national ID registration drive — coordinating field teams, managing equipment kits, and keeping registration numbers on track against government expectations. It suits someone who has run logistics-heavy field operations before and is comfortable being the person accountable when things slip in a remote location. The national ID program is a high-visibility government initiative, so the work carries more scrutiny than a typical private-sector project.

What the Requirements Say About This Role

The profile being sought is someone who has already managed people and physical assets simultaneously — the 3-5 year window suggests they want proven field coordination experience, not someone learning operations for the first time. The zonal posting structure implies they need people who can operate with minimal supervision far from Addis, making self-reliance and problem-solving under pressure more important than technical brilliance. Expect them to weigh prior experience with enumeration, registration, or donor-funded field projects heavily, since the learning curve on a national ID rollout is steep.

How to Approach This Application

Emphasize specific numbers — how many people you supervised, how many sites you covered, what geographic areas you worked in, and how you handled equipment or logistics shortfalls. Because this is a government-linked project, demonstrate familiarity with reporting discipline and working alongside local administrators or kebele officials. If you have worked in the exact town or zone you are applying for, say so prominently; local knowledge reduces their risk and is likely a deciding factor between comparable candidates.

Best Fit

Who This Role Suits

Best suited to someone with field operations experience in NGO, development, or large-scale registration programs who is willing to relocate to a zonal town and work under pressure. With ten parallel openings, competition per location is likely moderate, but candidates with direct registration or enumeration experience will stand out sharply.
