Core Network Product Technical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites as a Cloud Core Delivery Engineer (TE/TL/TD/SA) to deliver cloud core projects both onsite and remotely.
• Perform end-to-end project delivery for Cloud Core solutions, including network design, installation, deployment, integration, commissioning, cutover, software upgrades, system expansion, and migration activities.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle by identifying, analyzing, and mitigating technical risks to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support pre-sales activities by providing technical input for service contracts, solution design, and project planning.
• Develop and implement technical solutions while managing technical changes, system optimization, and major technical assurance activities.
• Deliver customer training, knowledge transfer, and technical mentoring to internal engineers and local teams.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction throughout project delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of  3-5 years of experience in telecom core network delivery, cloud core technologies, network integration, or technical support.
• Experience with mobile core network technologies such as CS Core, IMS, EPC, 5GC, HSS, PCRF/PCF, NFV, MANO, and SVC is highly preferred.
• Master's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field is an advantage.
• Relevant industry certifications such as Huawei HCIA/HCIP/HCIE, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, VMware VCP, Red Hat RHCSA/RHCE, OpenStack, or Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD) are highly desirable.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Cloud Core network architecture and telecom core network technologies.
• Familiarity with CS, IMS, NGN, HSS, PCRF, PS, NFV, EPC, 5GC, MANO, NFVI, and related telecom solutions from Huawei or other major vendors.
• Basic understanding of call signaling, telecom network evolution, IP networking, and data communication network design and commissioning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify technical risks and develop effective mitigation plans.
• Experience in technical solution design, implementation, testing, commissioning, and system optimization.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage customers and explain complex technical solutions.
• Strong customer-focused mindset with excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multicultural project teams.
• Willingness to travel internationally and support global project assignments.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
