About This Role
This is a dual-function role where you would split your time between day-to-day HR administration and designing or delivering staff training programs. Radisson Blu is an international hotel chain, so you would be working within a corporate HR framework while adapting it to Ethiopian labor regulations and a hospitality workforce that includes front-of-house, kitchen, and housekeeping staff. It suits someone who enjoys both the compliance side of HR and the more developmental, people-facing work of training.
What the Requirements Say About This Role
The 4–6 year experience range suggests they want someone who has already handled HR cycles independently, not someone still learning the basics. The hospitality preference is meaningful here — hotel HR involves high turnover, shift-based scheduling, and seasonal pressure, so they likely want someone who understands that rhythm rather than a generalist from a slower-paced sector. The emphasis on training coordination signals that this role has real program ownership, not just booking rooms and sending invitations.
How to Approach This Application
Lead with concrete examples of training programs you have coordinated or delivered — numbers of staff trained, how you assessed needs, and what changed as a result. Demonstrate your grasp of Ethiopian labor law through a specific situation where you applied it, since the hotel will want assurance you can protect them from compliance risk. Hospitality experience, even if brief, should be visible early in your CV because it signals you understand the operational realities of a 24-hour hotel environment.
Who This Role Suits
Best suited for an HR professional with some hotel or service-industry exposure who can move fluidly between paperwork and people development. Expect a competitive pool given the Radisson Blu name, so differentiation through training outcomes will matter.
