About This Role
This position places you at the operational heart of Kerchanshe’s people operations, where data accuracy directly influences payroll, compliance, and strategic workforce decisions. You are not merely an HR clerk with technical skills—you are the bridge between the human resources function and the IT department, ensuring the ERP system reflects reality. The role suits a detail-driven professional who finds satisfaction in clean data, structured reporting, and system optimization rather than in traditional recruitment or employee relations work.
What the Requirements Say About This Role
The 3-5 year experience expectation signals that Kerchanshe wants someone who has already weathered real-world data chaos—someone who has cleaned messy spreadsheets, reconciled biometric discrepancies, and survived an ERP rollout. The emphasis on statistics, attendance administration, and collaboration with IT implies the ideal candidate is equally comfortable with HR policy frameworks and system logic. They are not looking for a pure software engineer or a pure HR generalist; they want the hybrid professional who can translate HR needs into system requirements and vice versa.
How to Approach This Application
When applying, lead with concrete examples of data integrity challenges you have solved—mention specific instances where you reconciled payroll discrepancies or streamlined reporting cycles. Quantify your experience with HRIS platforms or ERP modules, even if the system names differ from what Kerchanshe uses. Since the role explicitly mentions collaboration with IT, highlight any cross-functional projects where you worked with technical teams, as this signals your ability to speak both languages. Employers in this space prioritize candidates who demonstrate audit-mindedness and confidentiality awareness, so weave those themes throughout your cover letter.
Who This Role Suits
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR operations professional in Addis Ababa who enjoys behind-the-scenes system work and wants to grow into a specialized HRIS career path. Competition is moderate—the role requires a rare blend of skills, so candidates who clearly demonstrate both HR process knowledge and system proficiency will stand out. Expect the hiring process to include practical assessments of your Excel or reporting skills.
