About the Role
Transsion Manufacturing PLC is looking for a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Junior Logistics Officer to join our team in Addis Ababa.
This position is ideal for a fresh graduate who is eager to begin a career in logistics, supply chain management, and business operations. The successful candidate will support daily logistics activities, inventory coordination, shipment tracking, documentation, and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating daily logistics and transportation activities.
- Support the receiving, storage, handling, and dispatch of goods.
- Monitor shipments and follow up on delivery schedules to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain logistics documents, delivery notes, invoices, and shipment records.
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and conducting regular stock checks.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams, suppliers, transport providers, and internal departments.
- Track incoming and outgoing goods and update inventory records accurately.
- Support import and export operations, including customs clearance documentation, when required.
- Assist in identifying and resolving delivery delays and inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare regular logistics reports.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and logistics policies.
- Perform other logistics-related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Accounting, , Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
