About This Role

This role goes beyond typical software management—it’s about reshaping how a bank runs internally. You will lead a team to build and maintain digital tools that replace manual processes in areas like HR, finance, and administration, directly impacting operational efficiency and transparency. It suits a technical leader who enjoys solving internal workflow problems rather than customer-facing product development, and who can navigate the unique compliance demands of the banking sector.

What the Requirements Say About This Role

The listing implies the bank is seeking a hybrid profile—someone with both hands-on technical expertise and managerial maturity, likely expecting 5–8 years of experience in software development and MIS, with proven leadership in a regulated environment. They are not just looking for a coder or a project manager; they want a builder who can translate complex business needs into secure, scalable systems while enforcing quality and security standards.

How to Approach This Application

Emphasize your experience in automating manual workflows and your familiarity with banking or financial sector compliance, such as data security and audit trails. Highlight specific projects where you led a team to replace paper-based or fragmented processes with integrated digital solutions. Since the role sits at the intersection of IT and operations, also showcase how you’ve collaborated with non-technical departments (HR, finance) to gather requirements and deliver user-friendly tools.

Best Fit

Who This Role Suits

This role is best suited for an experienced software engineering manager who thrives in a structured, high-compliance environment and has a track record of internal system digitization. It is likely competitive given the seniority and niche requirements, but candidates with banking or fintech experience will stand out.
