About This Role

This role blends operational payroll expertise with a human-centered approach, sitting at the intersection of HR and finance. You will not just process numbers—you will ensure employees are paid accurately and on time, which directly impacts trust and morale. Temer Properties, as a real estate firm, likely manages a mix of permanent and project-based staff, making payroll complexity higher than in typical office environments. This position suits someone who enjoys precision work but also values the human side of compensation.

What the Requirements Say About This Role

The focus on "payroll inputs" over mere data entry suggests the employer wants someone who understands the why behind each deduction, allowance, or overtime calculation. They are looking for a professional who can catch discrepancies before they become employee complaints—not just a processor, but a gatekeeper of payroll integrity. The collaboration with Finance and HR indicates that cross-functional communication skills are as critical as technical accuracy.

How to Approach This Application

Emphasize any experience reconciling payroll with financial systems or handling complex calculations like overtime, tax withholdings, and benefits deductions. Highlight examples where you identified and corrected payroll errors before they affected employees. Since Temer Properties operates in real estate, mention if you have worked with project-based or shift-based payroll—this signals you understand their operational reality. Do not just list software proficiency; explain how you used it to improve payroll accuracy or speed.

Best Fit

Who This Role Suits

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented payroll professional who thrives on routine but also values employee relations—someone who sees payroll as a trust-building function, not just a number-crunching task. Competition will be moderate, as fewer specialists combine payroll precision with HR collaboration skills.

Temer Properties is pleased to invite qualified and experienced professionals to apply for the position of People and Culture Specialist (Payroll) to join our team.
