Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and supervise the acquisition of goods and services.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Ensure procurement follows government regulations, organizational policies, and ethical standards.
- Draft, review, and monitor contracts with suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of organizational assets, including buildings, equipment, and vehicles.
- Monitor stock levels, conduct audits, and prevent misuse or loss of property.
- Schedule and oversee repairs, renovations, and upkeep of facilities.
- Handle the proper disposal or transfer of obsolete or damaged assets.
- Supervise office facilities, utilities, and supplies to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Oversee organizational vehicles, drivers, and travel logistics.
- Implement workplace safety measures and coordinate security services.
- Manage cleaning and other auxiliary services.
- Prepare and monitor budgets for procurement, property, and services.
- Establish guidelines for procurement, asset use, and service delivery.
- Supervise staff in procurement, property, and service units.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on expenditures, assets, and operations
