Production and Raw Material Control & Information Officer
Alhiw Trading PLCAbout This Role
This is a data-heavy operations role at a trading company, where you would sit between the warehouse floor and management, turning raw material movements, production output, and stock levels into numbers leadership can act on. It suits someone who is comfortable with spreadsheets and stock records but wants more exposure to how a trading business actually makes decisions. Alhiw Trading operates in the procurement and purchasing space, so expect the work to revolve around cost control and minimizing loss as much as reporting.
What the Requirements Say About This Role
The junior band with 1–3 years tells you they want someone who has already handled real stock or production data but still needs guidance on bigger judgment calls. The emphasis on verifying and comparing figures suggests they have had issues with inaccurate records or reconciliation gaps, so they are looking for a person who checks before reporting rather than someone who just inputs numbers. Expect them to value consistency and attention to detail over formal qualifications.
How to Approach This Application
Frame your experience around specific instances where your record-keeping caught a discrepancy, reduced waste, or improved a report someone relied on. Since the role bridges production and warehouse data, mention any exposure to both sides, even briefly. The employer likely prioritizes reliability and accuracy over speed, so show that your numbers can be trusted without re-checking.
Who This Role Suits
Best suited to early-career professionals with stock, warehouse, or production data experience who want a stable operations role in a trading company. Competition is likely moderate, and candidates who can demonstrate concrete accuracy wins will stand out.
