Senior Software Developer (Full Stack)

Department: Application Development team

Reports To: Team leader Position Summary

The senior Software Developer is expected to design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure back-end systems and APIs that power digital platforms and enterprise solutions, ensuring high performance, reliability, and integration across systems.

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and services
  • Develop scalable and high-performance backend systems
  • Ensure clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Design and manage relational and non-relational databases
  • Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity
  • Integrate backend systems with front-end applications and third-party services
  • Contribute to system architecture design and technology selection
  • Lead technical decision-making for backend solutions
  • Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews
  • Implement testing strategies, debugging, and performance tuning
  • Ensure security best practices (authentication, authorization, data protection)
  • Maintain high system reliability and availability
  • Support CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance
  • Manage deployment processes and cloud-based environments
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues
  • Prepare technical documentation, API documentation, and system guidelines
  • Report on development progress, risks, and system performance

Required Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, information system or related field

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in backend languages (Python, Java, Node.js)
  • Experience with frameworks (Spring Boot, Django, Express.js, .NET Core)
  • Solid knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
  • Experience with API development (REST, GraphQL)
  • Familiarity with micro services architecture
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in backend software development
