Description
Our company, Joel Pharmaceutical Wholesale PLC is seeking a motivated and results-driven pharmaceutical Technical Manager with Sales experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of the day-to-day operation of the wholesale including promoting and selling pharmaceutical products, maintaining strong relationships with clients, and contributing to the growth of the company.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure compliance with EFDA regulations and applicable pharmaceutical laws.
- Oversee medicine procurement, quality assurance, storage, inventory, and distribution.
- Ensure proper documentation, product traceability, and regulatory reporting.
- Manage product complaints, recalls, adverse event reporting, and disposal of expired or damaged medicines.
- Supervise and train staff on pharmaceutical handling, storage, and quality standards.
- Ensure proper control and security of narcotic and psychotropic medicines, where applicable.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- Valid professional licence and registration with the relevant Ethiopian regulatory body.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, in accordance with applicable EFDA requirements.
- Sound knowledge of EFDA regulations, pharmaceutical quality assurance, Good Distribution Practice (GDP), and Good Storage Practice (GSP).
- Strong skills in inventory management, documentation, regulatory compliance, and staff supervision.
- Demonstrated integrity, attention to detail, and professional accountability.
