About This Role

This is a hybrid field-and-office position where veterinary knowledge is applied commercially rather than clinically. The company is a wholesale distributor, so the work revolves around moving product through a channel — retail agro-vet shops, commercial farms, and clinics — rather than treating animals directly. It suits someone with a veterinary or animal science background who is comfortable advising customers, troubleshooting product use, and contributing to sales targets in a business-to-business context.

What the Requirements Say About This Role

The junior-level framing with 1–3 years tells you the employer wants someone with enough grounding to speak credibly about veterinary medicines and vaccines, but who is still trainable in the company's specific portfolio and sales approach. Expect them to value practical knowledge of livestock, poultry, and dairy production systems in Ethiopia over formal sales experience, since technical advising appears central to the role. The mention of product management and reporting to a commercial manager suggests you will be expected to feed field intelligence back into purchasing and stock decisions, not just sell.

How to Approach This Application

Lead with any hands-on exposure to veterinary products, farm visits, or agro-vet environments — even internship or practical training experience counts here. Show that you understand the difference between recommending a product and closing a sale, because the employer is hiring for both. If you have worked with livestock or poultry producers in Oromia or nearby areas, say so directly; knowledge of the local farming context is likely a deciding factor. Mention your willingness to travel to farms and retail outlets, since field presence is implicit in the role.

Best Fit

Who This Role Suits

Best suited to a recent animal science or veterinary graduate with some commercial or field exposure who wants to build a career at the intersection of animal health and agribusiness. Competition is likely moderate — the junior level widens the pool, but candidates with genuine product knowledge and local farm familiarity will stand out.
