About This Role

This is a front-line coordination role at the intersection of customer relations and workshop operations. You would be the bridge between vehicle owners and technicians — translating technical problems into clear explanations and keeping service jobs moving on schedule. Hagbes is one of Ethiopia's larger automotive and equipment dealers, so expect established processes but also high volume and a steady stream of walk-in and fleet customers. It suits someone who is organized, patient under pressure, and comfortable working around vehicles without necessarily being a mechanic.

What the Requirements Say About This Role

The profile being sought is someone who can absorb technical detail without being a technician — you need enough mechanical literacy to record faults accurately and relay them to the workshop floor. The emphasis on documentation (job cards, work orders, approvals) signals that this employer values traceability and process discipline, likely because disputes over costs and timelines are common in vehicle repair. Underneath the customer-facing language, this is really a role for someone with strong administrative habits and the ability to juggle several jobs at different stages at once.

How to Approach This Application

Highlight any experience where you handled complaints, managed schedules, or worked with technical teams — even outside automotive, those skills transfer directly. If you have exposure to vehicle servicing, spare parts, or fleet operations, make that explicit early, since it shortens your learning curve in the employer's eyes. Expect the interview to test how you would handle an unhappy customer whose vehicle is delayed, so prepare a concrete example of resolving a similar situation. Attention to detail in your own application documents matters here — this role is judged on record-keeping accuracy.
