About This Role

This is a hands-on cashiering role within a mission-driven NGO, where you would be the person accountable for daily cash handling and financial record-keeping at the association's office. It suits someone early in their finance career who wants stable employment with a social purpose rather than a fast-paced corporate environment. The association's focus on women's empowerment means you'd be working in a small, community-oriented setting where reliability matters more than corporate polish.

What the Requirements Say About This Role

The one-year minimum and modest salary signal that this is a trust-and-accuracy role, not a strategic finance position — the employer needs someone who can handle cash responsibly and keep clean records with minimal supervision. Requiring Word and Excel specifically suggests you'll be expected to maintain digital logs and simple reports alongside physical cashbooks, so comfort switching between paper and screen is assumed. The in-person application requirement hints at an organization that values personal accountability and may have limited HR infrastructure.

How to Approach This Application

Since you must apply in person with original documents, treat the visit itself as part of the interview — arrive organized, bring photocopies as well as originals, and be ready to speak briefly about how you've handled cash discrepancies or record-keeping in past roles. Emphasize accuracy and trustworthiness over ambition; NGOs of this size prioritize someone dependable who won't need close monitoring. If you have any experience working with community organizations or handling donor-funded petty cash, mention it.
