About This Role

This is not a typical internal IT support role. As IT Manager at Repi Soap & Detergent PLC, you will be responsible for architecting and maintaining the digital backbone of a manufacturing operation. The role suits an experienced IT professional who thrives in a production-driven environment where system downtime directly impacts output. You will bridge technology and business operations, ensuring that network reliability, data security, and infrastructure scalability support a fast-moving FMCG company.

What the Requirements Say About This Role

The emphasis on switching, routing, firewall administration, and endpoint protection like Cortex XDR signals that the company values hands-on technical depth over pure management experience. They are looking for someone who can both design network architecture and respond to security incidents directly. The inclusion of SD-WAN and MFA implementation suggests the company is modernizing its IT infrastructure, so candidates with recent experience in cloud-ready networking and zero-trust security models will stand out.

How to Approach This Application

In your application, highlight specific projects where you have implemented or upgraded network security and infrastructure in a manufacturing or similar operational setting. Emphasize any experience with backup and disaster recovery planning, as production continuity is critical. Avoid generic IT management language; instead, demonstrate your ability to configure VLANs, manage firewalls, and deploy endpoint protection solutions. Mentioning familiarity with vulnerability management tools will also strengthen your candidacy.

Best Fit

Who This Role Suits

This role is best suited for a senior IT professional with strong hands-on networking and security skills who prefers a stable, established company over a fast-paced tech startup. Given the specific technical requirements, the competition will be moderate, but candidates with direct FMCG or manufacturing IT experience will have a clear advantage.
