About This Role

This role is a quality assurance position focused on the front end of the dairy supply chain, where raw milk transitions from farms and collection points to factory processing. It suits a professional who enjoys fieldwork, supplier engagement, and data-driven problem-solving rather than just lab testing. The company, Holland Dairy, is a key player in Ethiopia’s growing FMCG dairy sector, and this role is critical for maintaining product consistency and food safety standards.

What the Requirements Say About This Role

The employer is seeking someone with a blend of technical quality control knowledge and the ability to manage people across multiple sites. This implies a need for strong communication and logistical coordination skills, as you will be the bridge between scattered collection points and a central factory. The profile sought is not just a lab technician but a proactive quality leader who can train suppliers and drive continuous improvement in raw milk quality.

How to Approach This Application

Focus your application on examples where you have improved raw material quality or reduced waste in a supply chain setting. Emphasize your experience with cold chain management, supplier audits, and team supervision in a field-based role. The employer likely prioritizes candidates who can demonstrate practical problem-solving in rural or semi-urban collection environments, so highlight any work in Bishoftu or similar settings.
