Job Summary
NLMC is seeking an experienced OPD / Procedure Room Nurse to support outpatient consultations, prepare patients for clinical procedures, and maintain safe, efficient patient flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare consultation and procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies.
- Assess patients, record vital signs, and support clinical consultations.
- Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures within the scope of practice.
- Prepare patients, maintain aseptic technique, and monitor them during and after procedures.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely.
- Maintain accurate patient records and support appointment and patient-flow coordination.
- Follow infection prevention, equipment sterilisation, and patient safety protocols.
- Provide patient education and communicate respectfully with patients and families.
Qualifications & Experience
- BSc Degree in Nursing.
- Valid professional nursing licence.
- 3–5 years of relevant hospital or specialised medical-centre experience, preferably in OPD, ambulatory care, or a procedure room.
- Experience assisting with clinical procedures and outpatient patient management is strongly preferred.
- Relevant procedure-room, infection prevention, or specialised clinical training is an advantage.
