About This Role
This role is for a compensation and benefits specialist who ensures employees are paid accurately and on time. It goes beyond basic payroll data entry, requiring you to reconcile complex inputs like overtime and allowances while acting as a bridge between HR and finance. The position suits a methodical professional with strong data management skills who can handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
What the Requirements Say About This Role
The employer is seeking someone who combines HR knowledge with payroll precision, not a generalist. The emphasis on reward and remuneration services suggests they value candidates who understand how compensation structures drive employee satisfaction and retention. Your ability to audit payroll outputs and spot errors will matter more than creative HR program design.
How to Approach This Application
Highlight specific experience with payroll systems, salary processing cycles, and resolving payment discrepancies. If you have worked with Ethiopian tax regulations, social security contributions, or pension schemes, emphasize this explicitly. Prepare an example that demonstrates how you caught a payroll error and corrected it before it affected employees.
Who This Role Suits
Best suited for an HR professional with at least three years of experience in compensation administration or payroll management. Competition will be moderate, as this is a specialized role requiring technical accuracy rather than broad HR generalist skills.
