About This Role
This role sits at the intersection of sales and post-sale support, focusing on generating revenue from existing customers rather than acquiring new ones. As a Product Support Sales Representative at National Marketers PLC, you will be tasked with nurturing long-term client relationships by selling maintenance contracts, spare parts, and service packages. It suits a professional who enjoys consultative selling and understands that aftermarket services often yield higher margins and deeper customer loyalty than initial product sales.
What the Requirements Say About This Role
The implied profile is a sales-oriented individual with strong relationship management skills and a solid grasp of technical products or services. While the listing seeks 1–3 years of experience, the emphasis is on proactive opportunity identification and cross-functional coordination — meaning the employer values candidates who can work between sales, service, and logistics teams. A background in industrial equipment, automotive, or machinery sectors would be advantageous, even if not explicitly stated.
How to Approach This Application
To stand out, highlight any experience where you extended customer lifetime value through upselling service contracts or spare parts. Emphasize your ability to track account activity, identify service needs before the customer asks, and collaborate with technical teams to close deals. Since National Marketers PLC is a local distributor, demonstrating familiarity with the Ethiopian commercial landscape and customer service expectations will strengthen your application.

This role is best suited for a junior sales professional who enjoys structured growth within a stable company and values building recurring revenue streams. It is moderately competitive, as it blends sales and customer support — a niche many applicants overlook.
