About This Role
This purchasing role is not about buying raw materials or office supplies—it is a specialized procurement position focused on marketing, advertising, and event execution. You will be the operational bridge between creative campaigns and physical reality, managing vendor relationships while ensuring that offline promotions, store builds, and brand activations are delivered on time and on budget. It suits a procurement professional who understands the fast-paced nature of the telecoms and consumer electronics sector, and who can balance commercial negotiation with hands-on project coordination.
What the Requirements Say About This Role
The description implies the company is seeking someone with more than just purchasing experience—they want a professional who understands the marketing and branding environment. The emphasis on industry knowledge suggests you must be familiar with how telecom and home appliance brands communicate with consumers offline, from retail store fit-outs to promotional events. This is not a back-office procurement role; it demands someone comfortable working closely with creative teams and external agencies, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple moving parts simultaneously.
How to Approach This Application
When applying, highlight any experience you have procuring marketing materials, event supplies, or retail construction services. Emphasize examples where you negotiated with advertising vendors, managed timelines for campaigns, or coordinated with internal marketing teams. The employer will prioritize candidates who can demonstrate they understand the specific demands of offline brand execution—so avoid generic procurement language and instead show how you have supported promotional or branding projects in the past.
Who This Role Suits
This role is best suited for a mid-career procurement specialist with at least three years of experience in marketing-related purchasing, ideally within telecoms, consumer electronics, or advertising. Competition is moderate, but candidates with direct industry exposure will have a clear advantage.
