About This Role
This is not a traditional real estate leasing or facilities role—it’s a warehouse and inventory management position within a property administration context. The job suits experienced logistics or storekeeping professionals who can oversee the flow of materials, tools, and finished goods. Ovid Real Estate appears to operate beyond property development, likely managing supply chains or construction-related inventories, so candidates should expect a hands-on, operational environment.
What the Requirements Say About This Role
The listing implies the employer is seeking someone with deep experience in stock control, documentation, and reconciliation—not just administrative oversight. The “senior” designation suggests the role carries responsibility for training or supervising junior staff, and for ensuring compliance with internal controls. Candidates must be comfortable with cycle counts, variance analysis, and audit-ready record-keeping, not just basic data entry.
How to Approach This Application
Focus your cover letter and CV on concrete examples of reducing stock variances, implementing labeling systems, or conducting physical counts in a warehouse or logistics setting. Emphasize your familiarity with inventory software and your ability to produce accurate reports under pressure. The employer will likely prioritize candidates who demonstrate resilience, attention to detail, and experience in high-volume material handling environments.
Who This Role Suits
This role is best suited for seasoned storekeepers or warehouse supervisors with 5–8 years of experience, ideally in construction, logistics, or manufacturing. It is likely moderately competitive, as the niche of senior property admin in Addis Ababa may attract a focused pool of qualified applicants.
Job Purpose
The Senior property admin is responsible for managing and overseeing all store operations, including the receipt, storage, issue, and control of materials, tools, equipment, and finished goods.
