About This Role
This is a field-heavy coordination role that sits between the sales and marketing functions. You will be the person who ensures brand plans actually come to life in shops, warehouses, and distributor locations. It suits someone who enjoys moving between planning and execution, and who can manage multiple retail touchpoints without losing attention to detail. Kerchanshe is one of Ethiopia’s major coffee exporters and traders, so the work will likely involve both fast-moving consumer goods logic and agricultural commodity realities.
What the Requirements Say About This Role
The phrase “3-5 years” suggests the employer wants someone who has already learned basic marketing principles on the job and can now operate with less supervision. The likely profile is a professional who has coordinated promotions or merchandising before, knows how to work with distributors and retail staff, and can handle logistics like POSM distribution. They are not looking for a strategist—they need someone who can execute quickly and fix problems at the point of sale.
How to Approach This Application
Your application should demonstrate that you understand the difference between planning and field execution. Emphasize any experience you have with trade promotions, in-store activations, or working with agents and dealers. Mention specific examples of how you ensured branding materials reached the right locations on time. Because this role involves coordination across multiple business units, highlight your ability to communicate with different teams and keep things moving under pressure.
Who This Role Suits
This role is best suited for a marketing professional who prefers hands-on execution over desk-based strategy and is comfortable working across multiple retail and distribution points. It is moderately competitive, as roles that bridge sales and marketing are valued but require specific field experience.
