About This Role

This is a dual-track position that splits a junior doctor's time between clinical duties and promotional work for the hospital's wellness services. Teklehaimanot General Hospital is essentially looking for a medically trained person who can also help sell and deliver preventive health programs to corporate clients. It suits a fresh graduate who wants clinical exposure but is also comfortable with public-facing, communications-heavy work. The hybrid nature means you would be building two skill sets at once rather than following a traditional clinical pathway.

What the Requirements Say About This Role

The profile being sought is someone with enough medical credibility to run screenings unsupervised but junior enough to be shaped by senior physicians. The emphasis on marketing and content creation suggests the hospital values communication ability and initiative as much as clinical competence. This is not a role for someone who only wants to see patients — it rewards a doctor who can translate health information into messages that resonate with corporate decision-makers. The entry-level framing indicates they expect to train the right person rather than hire an established specialist.

How to Approach This Application

Your CV should lead with any experience in health education, community outreach, or public speaking, even from medical school activities. Emphasize concrete skills like conducting screenings, writing patient-friendly content, or engaging with groups, since the employer is likely prioritizing communication ability and willingness to work across departments. A short note on why preventive health interests you will differentiate you from candidates who see this only as a clinical stepping stone. If you have any exposure to corporate health programs or marketing concepts, surface it clearly.

Best Fit

Who This Role Suits

Best suited to a recent medical graduate who is outgoing, comfortable promoting services, and genuinely interested in preventive medicine rather than purely clinical practice. Expect moderate competition — the medical credential narrows the pool, but the marketing angle may deter some traditional candidates.
