Wood Measuring and Chipping Operator

As a Wood Measuring and Chipping Operator, you will play a crucial role in our fiber wood manufacturing process. You will be responsible for measuring wood materials accurately and operating chipping machinery to prepare raw materials for production.

Key Responsibilities:
• Measure and assess wood materials for quality and size specifications.
• Operate chipping machines to process wood into suitable sizes for fiber production.
• Monitor equipment performance and conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal operation.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of wood measurements and production output.

Qualifications:

• Education: Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in technical training in woodworking or machinery operation is preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or woodworking environment is advantageous.
• Knowledge of wood types, properties, and measuring techniques.
• Familiarity with chipping machinery and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Good physical stamina and capability to lift heavy materials as needed.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
